Week 1: Wisdom and Guidance
January 1
Proverbs 1:1-2: “The Proverbs of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel: that people may know wisdom and discipline.”
God makes a way for us to grow when we humbly accept correction rather than reject it.
January 2
Proverbs 2:6: “For the LORD Gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
True transformation begins with a teachable heart.

Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; in all your ways be mindful of him and he will make straight your paths.”

Seek God's companionship and righteousness daily to flourish amid life's challenges and uncertainties.

Proverbs 11:2: "When pride comes, disgrace comes; but with the humble is wisdom."

Proverbs 12:25: “Worry weighs down the heart, but a kind word gives it joy.”
God restores joy and vitality when He fulfils our hopes in His perfect timing.

Proverbs 13:13: “Whoever despises the word must pay for it, but whoever reveres the command will be rewarded.”
God calls us to live thoughtfully and learn continually from His Word.
January 14
Proverbs 14:30: “A tranquil mind gives life to the body, but jealousy rots the bones.”
Contentment is God's gift of divine satisfaction.
January 15
Proverbs 15:1: “A mild answer turns back wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
Self-control and long-suffering cultivate understanding.
Week 3: Discipline in Mind and Body
January 16
Proverbs 16:9: “The human heart plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps.”
God's wisdom guides us away from destructive paths.
January 17
Proverbs 17:22: “A joyful heart is the health of the body, but a depressed spirit dries up the bones.”
God transforms sickness of heart into abundant life.
January 18
Proverbs 18:10: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the just run to it and are safe.”
Those who trust in God and live according to His will actively seek Him for protection and help in times of trouble.
January 19
Proverbs 19:18: “Discipline your children, for in that there is hope;do not be a willing party to their death.”
Discipline is to instill hope, wisdom, and life, ensuring children do not ruin their lives through a lack of restraint.
January 20
Proverbs 20:29: “The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.”
Youthful strength is to be used for services and positive endeavors, while old age brings valuable perspective and maturity.
January 21
Proverbs 21:15: “When justice is done it is a joy for the just, downfall for evildoers.”
Justice upholds the truth, while it acts as a terror and destruction to the wicked.
Week 4: Steadfastness in Faith
January 22
Proverbs 22:9: “The generous will be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.”
It highlights the act of compassion and the principle of reciprocity, providing for the needy results in divine blessing.
January 23
Proverbs 23:17: “Do not let your heart envy sinners, but only those who always fear the Lord.”
Living with integrity reflects reverence for God.
January 24
Proverbs 24:26: “An honest reply, a kiss on the lips.”
Honesty builds trust in relationships and reflects God's righteousness.
January 25
Proverbs 25:28: “A city breached and left defenseless are those who do not control their temper.”
Discipline transforms character through God's grace.
January 26
Proverbs 26:26: “Hatred can be concealed by pretense, but malice will be revealed in the assembly.”
Hate is often disguised by deceit and trickery, but will inevitably face open judgment or public exposure.
January 27
Proverbs 27:17: “Iron is sharpened by iron; one person sharpens another.”
We are not meant to grow in isolation. We are meant to build strong communities where people support, uplift, and challenge each other in faith and in life.
January 28
Proverbs 28:4: “Those who abandon instruction praise the wicked, but those who keep instruction oppose them.”
Seek Godly counsel to walk safely in faith, avoiding the pitfalls that ensnare the reckless.
January 29
Proverbs 29:6: “The sin of the wicked is a trap, but the just run along joyfully.”
Righteousness leads to freedom and happiness, whereas wickedness brings entrapment.
January 30
Proverbs 30:8: “Put falsehood and lying far from me, give me neither poverty nor riches; provide me only with the food I need.”
A request to be preserved from sin and from the temptation to deny a relationship with the Lord.
January 31
Proverbs 31:8-9: “Open your mouth [on] behalf of the mute, and for the rights of the destitute; open your mouth, judge justly, defend the needy and the poor.”
A biblical call to action to advocate for the vulnerable, the forgotten, and the marginalized. A direct command from God to care for others.
The Book of Proverbs’ sayings of wisdom, discipline and humility are timeless and never serve to fail people on their walk with God.
